Victorian Tile Restoration, Repair & Installation Projects in Scotland

We’ve recently completed a wide range of Victorian floor tile restoration, geometric tile repair, encaustic tile conservation and new Victorian tile installation projects throughout Scotland.

Top Left – Encaustic Tile Restoration
This close-up shows one of our encaustic tile restoration projects, where damaged decorative Victorian tiles were repaired and colour matched to preserve the original design and character of the historic floor.

Top Right – Stockbridge, Edinburgh
This is one of our Victorian tile installation projects in Stockbridge, Edinburgh. We designed the geometric layout, sourced and fabricated the required tiles, and installed the new Victorian-style entrance path to complement this traditional Edinburgh property.

Bottom Left – Dowanhill, Glasgow
This project involved the conservation and restoration of an original Victorian mosaic floor in Dowanhill, Glasgow, including cleaning, repairing loose tesserae and conserving the historic mosaic using traditional methods.

Bottom Right – Aberdeen
This Victorian geometric tile restoration project in Aberdeen involved specialist cleaning, replacement of damaged tiles and colour-matched repairs to restore the appearance and integrity of the original entrance floor.

Alongside these projects we’ve also completed Victorian tile cleaning, restoration and conservation work throughout Dundee and Lanarkshire, helping to preserve original geometric and encaustic tiled floors in period homes, churches and listed buildings across Scotland.
