Victorian Tiles Restoration Clean in Stirling, Scotland

A really nice Victorian geometric and encaustic tile project undertaken in Stirling, Scotland.

A really lovely design and pleasure to conserve and restore this floor.

We commissioned a specialist tile subcontractor to replicate a number of the encaustic and geometric Victorian tiles which had become damaged by impact from above. This had led to loss of the surrounding tiles. The team instated the replicated Victorian tiles and loose surrounding tiles were removed, the grout and adhesive from the Victorian tiles was carefully removed and then reinstated to the original design intent.

This Victorian tile floor has an amazing design, really intricate and decorative and a lovely Victorian tile restoration project to work on.
