Victorian and historic tile floors and mosaics can often appear very dirty and look unkept.
This can often be as a result of degradation of the tile surface by footfall.
Waxes can often attract dirt and more modern unsympathetic acrylic and synthetic sealants can degrade quickly. Linseed oil applications can often yellow with age.
Often the dirt and dust can be emulsified into the wax, becoming very difficult to remove.
We offer specialist effective cleaning of tile schemes which does not saturate the tiles and screed substrate of the floor. Which can result in efflorescence and structural insecurity.
Victorian Tile Restoration does not use harsh alkaline or acidic chemicals and sensitive interiors of homes and historic buildings are not affected by our gentle yet highly effective cleaning techniques.
